I can't do that.

This feels quite ironic that i'm writing a blog post on Self-Confidence, not meaning that I have none at all as I can achieve anything and everything I put my mind to but reminding myself of that statement in everyday life is the biggest issue.

There are things that I know I am more than capable of doing like teaching a taekwondo class, I do that all the time with my dad however, I doubt myself when dad isn't there and I'm alone teaching, I don't have a safety net to fall back on but I know I can do it, my mind just doubts itself with no reason.

I wanted to write post on this because I know there are people out there like me with the same dilemma but i'm going to write this as honest as I can, none of this "smile more, dress up" stuff that doesn't help. Our thoughts are the main reason that holds people like us back, am I right? But, in saying that when we achieve something or believe we can do it without doubting ourselves, we can conquer the world. We have allowed ourselves to feel that confidence that said task has given us and grow on it to hopefully not make the next task as daunting.

If there's one thing I can tell you in life, please be yourself. It makes me sad when people try and change for others or adapt their lifestyle to please someone else. You've got to live your life for you because people love you for you and that's that. This is coming from the girl who doesn't do all the fake tan, big hair, fake nails, full make up everyday. That's never appealed to me, this is the girl who loves comic books, Harry Potter and does Taekwondo daily and I know I can achieve anything if I believe in myself and I really hope you do too.
