Everyone has a problem starting their work don't they? As we would all much rather sit in front of the TV after a day at the office. The book "Manage your day to day" by Jocelyn K Glei will change the way you think.

This book was introduction to changing your mindset and lifestyle in order to become a more creative person. The book lays out the groundwork for effective routines and practices that can fit into your daily routine.

"You need to draw the line between your own conditions and the worlds demands" (Mark McGuiness)

McGuinness states that it is essential that you are able to prioritise the creative rituals to "capture every commitment" as it is important to take advance of energy levels and utilise this for your own creative benefit.

We could all use this book to benefit as this technique lets us adapt our daily routines to make them the best and the most resourceful they can be.

"Creative work first, reactive work second"

We have all done it, haven't we? Slept in, scrambled out of bed, flew into work, checked over 100 emails, made phone calls and finally after helping everyone else it's 2:30pm and you don't to start your own work. Having numerous meetings and email replying is counterproductive to your own work thus you need to take time for yourself and do your own work to its best advantage before others. Sometimes helping others needs to be sacrificed for your own benefit.
