Group work. We either love it or loathe it, whether it be in University or in your job. Whether your're a lover or a loather, they are certain things you can follow to become the best team member you can be.

A factor of a successful group work situation is everyone adhering to KPI's or Key Performance indicators. When working in teams and be able to deliver SMART objectives, these should like:
Specific
Motivating
Achievable
Realistic
Time-bound
Following these simple guidelines will help your group have an effective work flow and understand where everyone stands at all times. Especially in the media industry where Transmedia narratives are becoming more and more popular, your group needs to be aware of issues like How many players are required or does player drop off matter in your scenario and how you tackle this.

One of the most important issues that groups tend to look past is time. Groups want to pack everything into one time frame and things end up getting forget about or not done at all so, in tackling this groups would need to cut their tasks in hand down into weekly, manageable segments also ensuring that the segments are relevant to the task in hand so they know exactly what needs done and what has been done. This will help in a healthy and manageable work flow.
