Media Professionals

I'm certain that I want to be in media industry after I graduate in a job of Graphic Design or Illustration however I wanted to hear other media professionals backgrounds and how they got to their job of their dreams and would I want to change career direction after hearing them.

Currently I am waiting for responses from:

I choose these four people as I wanted to hear from people with many different skills and hopefully they can give me advise to how to become a "T-shaped" individual.
